Ingenious Ideas for Small Baths

New York City is infamous for its ity bity bathrooms. f you’ve ever been completey stuck with trying to figure out what to do with your small bathroom and make it more efficient, we have come to the rescue! We came up with some solutions, along with some ideas from House Beautiful, to help you out.

SINK SPACE... While oval sinks might seem more traditional, they will give you so much more counter space! If fitting a vanity still seems too tight, pedestal sinks can fit into even the tiniest space and are perfect for a powder bath too. While couples LOVE the idea of having separate sinks, a single sink will allow so much more room. You just gotta compromise sometimes!

VANITIES WITH BUILT-IN TOWEL BARS SAVE SPACE! Besides looking classy and a bit vintage, these sink consoles with built-in towel bars will save walls from being covered up with towels and just give an overall cleaner look. The walls will thank you.

MAKE TUB SPACE EFFICIENT! Just because you have a free-standing tub, doesn’t mean it has to take up precious space. Compact tubs along with hanging bath towels above save lots of room and still allows you to have that luxurious space to just chill out.

STORAGE EVERYWHERE! The more storage space the better. Vanities with drawers and even open shelving can make all the difference. Even medicine cabinets have started to stray away from that dated 80’s look and now come with beautiful mirror fronts. Also utilize any nooks and crannies to put in shelving or narrow storage cabinets. Yet another way to keep your countertop de-cluttered.

MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL… It’s amazing how much bigger a room can appear with the use of large mirrors. Hanging a mirror above the tub or anywhere else where there is decent wall space will do just that while also giving a unique look to the space.
